Lindsey Brown, director, design and construction, Longfellow Real Estate Partners

Brown has extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams in the successful completion of biotech and life science projects. She is passionate about supporting scientists and researchers as they work to innovate and improve lives. Brown approaches all projects with a strong, strategic focus and an emphasis on team building while maintaining a clear path towards achieving project goals. Prior to joining Longfellow, she held positions with Anheuser-Busch, Boeing, Bayer and Novozymes. Brown earned her MBA from Saint Louis University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla.

Jason Davis, Ph.D., director, business development, GXP Storage

Davis specializes in building the partnerships that help life sciences companies protect what matters most: the integrity of their materials at every stage of development. His experience grounds his work in the real demands of drug development and North Carolina's expanding life sciences ecosystem. He holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology from Augusta University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University School of Medicine.

Matt Gladdek, vice president, economic development, Durham Chamber

Gladdek is the front door for economic development projects in all of Durham County. Durham County focuses on projects that provide great jobs, community partnerships and capital investment. The past 12 months have been a very productive year with three project announcements committing to a total of $2 billion of capital investment and 2,000 jobs. Gladdek received his masters in city and regional planning and public administration from UNC Chapel Hill, and he earned a B.A. in political studies from Gordon College.

Michael Hunter, senior vice president, manufacturing operations, Liquidia

Hunter joined Liquidia in 2007 and brings more than 20 years of experience across all phases of drug and drug-device combination product development. He manages all aspects of the company’s manufacturing operations, which, in part, led to the filing of  their first NDA. Previously, Hunter worked as a quality engineer and manufacturing engineer with Boston Scientific where he was responsible for the transfer and validation of new products from process development to manufacturing. Here, he also served on the site FDA compliance counsel for the company’s Interventional Cardiology Division. Prior to Boston Scientific, he worked for seven years in process development and scale-up with Sony Ericsson and Cree. Hunter holds a M.S. in materials engineering from North Carolina State University and a B.S. in applied science-biomaterials from UNC Chapel Hill.

Neill Sherron, senior vice president, CBRE (moderator)

Sherron represents tenants and occupiers in identifying and securing the right real estate solutions for their business locally, nationally and globally. With more than 16 years of commercial real estate experience across life science, innovation, tech office and flex product types, he leverages a depth of market knowledge and transactional expertise to deliver outcomes that align with each client's strategic objectives. Prior to joining CBRE, Sherron spent 13 years with Longfellow Real Estate Partners, ultimately serving as partner of portfolio leasing where he oversaw leasing strategy and execution across Longfellow's U.S. and U.K. portfolio. He began his career with The Spectrum Companies where he represented institutional owners in leasing office and innovation properties. Sherron received his bachelor's degree in business administration from North Carolina State University.
