Alcami will co-host an upcoming Talk & Tour event with the Parenteral Drug AssociationÕs Southeast Chapter on July 25 at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center from 12:30 Ð 5:00 p.m. All registration fees will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma SocietyÕs (LLS) Light the Night Fundraiser. Funds raised through Light the Night enable the LLS to fund treatments for all forms of blood cancers. LLS has helped fund over 70% of FDA-approved blood cancer treatments since 2016.
During the afternoon, participants will hear from Lexie Petsikas of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, followed by Alex Drennan, Alcami Director of Manufacturing, and Jeremy Mainville, Alcami Director of Laboratory Operations, who will share key learnings in sterile fill finish manufacturing, CDMO microbiology capabilities and lab biologic capabilities, as well as project streamlining with a focus on oncology.
The event includes tours of AlcamiÕs four cutting-edge sterile fill-finish suites (with transportation provided) plus a networking reception and heavy hors dÕoeuvres.
